100% of the Donations and Grants go directly to assisting Veterans. The Kline Fund is operated by volunteers.
The Homeless Veteran Transitional Housing Program
The Kline Homeless Veterans Fund is a joint project with the Las Vegas office of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The process begins when a Veteran in need contacts the Veterans Administration. If eligible the Veteran is scheduled for a six day screening process, at which point we provide the Veteran with a safe a stable place to live for up to 10 days with three meals a day, access to public transportation service and clothing if needed. During this period of time the Veteran is evaluated by the VA to determine their long term needs to transition to independence and re-enter the workforce and return to a productive life.
The Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund is funded by the sale of "Poppies" thru Jewish War Veterans Post 64. We also receive donations from the public and private sector as well as Grants from applicable organizations. We are actively seeking both public and private sponsorships as well as community and collaborative partners to assist us in serving homeless Veterans.
